I am a retired woman in my mid-50s. I recently returned from six months of solo travel in Europe and North Africa. I have lived in and cared for homes in both urban and rural areas. I have assisted in building a home, and have a good understanding of how things work. I do not shy away from basic home repairs. One of my homes was completely powered by sun and wind, so I am very familiar with the operations of a renewable energy system and its routine maintenance. I will provide your animals with responsible and compassionate care. I maintain a simple lifestyle that utilizes few material possessions. I am in good health and physical condition. I enjoy gardening, and wil be happy to assist in maintaining yours if this is needed. I am interested in housesitting because of the opportunity it provides me to see other parts of the country.
