We are both ex-educators (Lyn an infants teacher, Don a university lecturer and formerly a secondary school teacher). We've lived four years in the UK and Canada, and we've been back four times.
We live in a 55+ unit now and (terrible to relate) no cats allowed. So we have a permanent regular booking in Mosman right on beautiful Sydney Harbour and we otherwise amuse ourselves with movies, theatre, reading and writers' conferences, and travel.
We know cats. Orientals special but we love 'em all.
We've lived (not holidayed, lived) in Toronto, Whitstable, Canterbury, and Durham. We have good friends in Toronto. Needless to say we'd probably need time to arrange things but when we did come we'd be happy to stay for a fair while if you were off on the grande tour.
