We (John and Wendy) are retired professionals who have been house sitting for 5 years on and off. We have extensive experience with animals as we had a small farm for a hobby. We have done our own vet care including administering medications and shots. Our animal experience includes: dogs, cats, parrots, sheep, goats, poultry,hogs, and beef cows. I know the basics about horses. We have been avid gardeners for years, and I have built and maintained our home which we own and have resided at for 20 years.
We have house sat in New Mexico, Spain, France, Mexico, and Ireland. We have been invited back in several places. We have never been denied a reference.
Wendy is a teacher and I was a psychotherapist, both professions have high standards of honesty,integrity and confidentiality, and we carry this over to our house sits. Neither of us has any police involvement and are non smokers. We have past references, and would do a background check if they were not enough.
